I am 28 years old & I have had two Nissen Fundoplication surgeries for GERD (1997 & 1998)... #2 was more effective than the first. I am now 27 weeks pregnant and hearing that the pressure of the growing baby on the diaphram could damage the wrap. If not, that the pressure exerted during labor could easily do so. Does anyone have any experience or advice on this matter? Should I consider having a C-section to prevent any damage? I have been unable to find any info as I am a relatively young reflux patient. Thanks... Kendra
