I am 26 years old and was diagnosed with acid reflux in February. Have been on Tagamet and for the last 7 months have been taking Prilosec. A couple of months ago I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and
my doctor prescribed Celebrex. I have also tried Vioxx, advil, motrin and every other anti-inflammatory drug possible it seems. Every thing I take makes my acid reflux so bad - my stomach hurts (or burns) severely so I have to quit taking it. The Prilosec doesn't seem to be helping the acid at all. I really need to take something for my RA the pain is bad most days. Any ideas of how to take anti-inflammatory drugs and yet control acid reflux?
