I have gastroparesis, have they ruled this out?
Also there is CVS cyclical vomiting syndrome.
Obviously Im not a doc but Ive done some reading.
Its been noted that hormones play a role in digestive symptoms.Possibly your condition and
meds are contributing to the problem. I did come
across a women who had gastroparesis who had
vomiting aprox once a month and had remission of
symptoms upon menapause.Just some ideas??You also
may want to go to a specialist/second opinion?
The green/yellow sounds like your stomach is empty
of food? Oh,neurological conditions and inner ear
can cause vomiting too.
I hope your feeling better soon! Good Luck!
: For the past 12 months, typically once a month, I vomit from midnight til dawn, usually once every 30 to 60 minutes. The symptoms are always the same: it only happens at night around 9:00 p.m. I feel a burning sensation/pain in my stomach and my stomach bloats out. This continues until midnight where I then become naseaus and eventually vomit all night long. The vomit usually is yellowish/greenish yukky gook from the pit of my stomach! My doctor's have been unable to figure out what's causing it. I've had tests done and everything comes back negative/normal. I'd like to add that I am 35 year's old and I am taking estrogen/progestine because my ovaries do not produce estrogen anymore and I do not have a menstrual cyle any more due to a medical condition that I had 7 year's ago. The only common pattern to my vomiting is that it occurs every 23 to 30 days almost like a menstrual cyle might occur. Why I would be vomiting instead however is beyond me and my doctors. I am baffled and tired of vomitting and then feeling exhausted the next day. Has anyone out there ever experienced anything like this, or can you offer any ideas/suggestions on what to do or what this can be? Anything would be appreciated. Evonne
