Every 6 weeks or so I get an attack of some sort of stomach problem that usually lasts 4-5 days then disappears. I feel nauseaus all the time and as if I have a lump in my throat. I an pale, weak, shakey and depressed and my mouth is dry and tastes foul. I have little appetite, when it is time to eat I feel ill rather than hungry and after I eat I bloat up, have bad gas, still feel ill and my stomach makes amazing gurgling noises. None of this is major, if I keep busy I tend to forget how unwell I feel but if I am doing nothing it is all I can think about. I am on thyroxin for a thyroid problem and hormone replacement treatment for an early menopause. I would appreciate any suggestions as to what it could be. I should mention I am a 37 year old female.
