: My 2 year old son has been diagnosed with gastroparesis. The doctors think it may have a viral origin?
: Has anyone ever heard of this. I know 40% of cases of gastroparesis are idiopathic and this scares me.
: He currently has a trans pylorus feeding tube in place and is connected to a feeding pump 16 hours a day.
: I'm looking for natural medications that might help him. He is currently taking Propulsid, Zantac and EES.
: Has anyone dealt with surgeries to correct this disorder? I'm looking forward to any and all recommendations.

dear joni,
there is a new method of dealing with this and it is the stomach pace-maker.
I have been considering this and have had this problem for four years.
I hate to think that a small child would have to deal with this for too long.
hope this helps,
jane
