My 85 year old mother is getting to the point where she can hardly eat or drink without choking and throwing up. She has been diagnosed with acid reflux and hiatal hernia. Has anyone out there had similar problems and how did you treat it? Also, does anyone know the name of the new laser treatment to "fix" acid reflux? It's suppose to be a fairly simple procedure and nothing like the old surgery used for it. Any input will be sincerely appreciated.
