: : Hi, I was told that I have several gall stones, they were found in Feb, when I had to have an ultra sound for a kidney stone. I have had a severe pain in the right abdomen area, stomache, and upper chest into the back. I have had this pain off and on for about 4 years. The pain can last anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours. I have been to the doctor's and ER before I knew what I had, they dismissed it as something else. I am wondering if this pain is associated with gall stones? If anyone else has had this problem, please leave some input.....
: I had exactley what you're describing. It sounds like you mighthave to have your gallbladder removed. I had mine removed a month ago. And it was the best thing I ever did. They use a new procedure, where they use a scope instead of a big incision.
: Ask your doctor about it.
Thank you for your input. How was your surgery? I have been reading that when your gallbladder is removed, you tend to use the bathroom more. How often did your attacks occur and how long did they last?
