ANY One who can help please post or email me.I had gastric bypass surgery over a year ago to lose weight.I have lost alot of weight but have had chronic abdominal pain and constipation.6 months after the first surgery I had surgery for a small partial bowel obstruction.I have been told I have irritable bowel all the way down to needing a Psychiatrist!! My internal medicine md agrees there is something very wrong and thinks it is a result of the bypass.I never EVER had these problems before surgery!I have had numerous tests that showed nothing.When I had the bowel obstruction it didn't show up either until I was opened up.I have an appointment with another specialist in a few weeks.If they cannot find anything I have been told I will have to go to mayo clinic!! I am scared to death and am always in pain.My doc thinks either I have some nerve damage or part of my bowel has just stopped working.I am so afraid of ending up with a colostomy .I cannot even work any more and find my self very depressed.I had a psyc evaluation to satisfy these doctors that think when they can't find any thing it's in your HEAD!! I was told the depression and anxiety is from my chronic pain.Any one that can help or knows someone with this problem please email me!! Thanks I am scared!
