I would ask the dr about possible pancreatitis or maybe stones stuck in his bile ducts still.
Or, he may just have what the rest of us live with day in and day out....unknown pain from an operation that took an organ out that we "really never needed."
I had my gallbladder out 7 yrs ago, and to this day i stil have these unbearble pains. After numerous negative tests and medications that didnt help, i was sent to a shrink! Just once i would like the drs to feel what this pain is like and have them say its in their head.
I greatly regret ever gettin my GB removed, it was an emergency situation, no choice involved since a stone blocked a duct and bile ran all over my liver and pancreas. I was 24 yrs old, and trusted my drs........now, look what i have to live with. There is no cure for this pain, other than, keep looking yourself and tryin what others have experimented with, stay away from them butchers! I believe those drs dont have a clue what any of us are going thru.
