I was recently diagnosed with Gastroparesis after suffering periodic attacks for two years. Now suddenly I cannot eat hardly anything without pain, cramping, BLOATING, and sometimes diahrea. Can't get into a gastroenterologist til October! Help. Am I going to die? Are there others out there who have managed this and how? I am only on a low dose of pediatric erythromycin to help motility supposedly. I am a 49 year old female. I have dropped 15 pounds in about 3 weeks. Am eating toast, crackers, broth, etc. Miss salads, fruit, vegetables, and wonder about eating so little, especially no protein except an egg now and then. I need some support badly. I thought that talking with someone who has this and is managing it would help my anxiety level, as well as help me figure out what to try next. Doctors aren't really very helpful to me so far. Thanks. (Whew!) Chris
