I have been dignosed as having barretts deise, the reflux seems to be under control at this time. I' m taking (Priloces) however I've been experiencing a dull pain in my right shoulder and down the back of the same arm. Is this a symptom of barretts? Also it appears that slightest tention seems to cause me abdominal pain. Is this consistent with barretts symptoms
: : : I have a relative in law that was told that she has Barrets and it was terminal, is that true? She is 36 years old with 3 young children is there not anything that we can do for her?
: : : Please, please give me some information on this...
: : Barrett's esophagus is a condition in which the lining of a chronically irritated esophagus mutates to resemble the lining of the stomach. Cancer of the esophagus eventually develops in around five (5) percent of Barrett's cases, but the disease itself IS NOT TERMINAL.
: I've just been told that I have Barrett's esophogus at county USC, they gave me Lansoprazole, a generic for previcid. I'm curious what are her symptoms besides reflux. I have three kids to, maybe that has something to do with it. ( just kidding) Hope we can discuss it more sometime.
