My sisters baby who was born May 22,2000 has severe milk-protein allergy she was on nutramigen which she could not tolerate and is now on neocate and it does not seem to be working. We're at our wits end. Every time she feeds her a bottle she pulls her legs up and screams and tears roll down her face. She has been hospitalized for poor weight gain. The doctors say she just has to outgrow this and it will take 6-8 months. It is very frustrating and sad to see this little girl in so much pain and feel there is nothing anyone can do for her. The baby also has cleft patlate, as did her mother, and also has tubes in her ears which were put in at 5 weeks of age; this seems to be the least of her problems. Is there anyone out there with any suggestions. Please help!!
