: : Hi, I was told that I have several gall stones, they were found in Feb, when I had to have an ultra sound for a kidney stone. I have had a severe pain in the right abdomen area, stomache, and upper chest into the back. I have had this pain off and on for about 4 years. The pain can last anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours. I have been to the doctor's and ER before I knew what I had, they dismissed it as something else. I am wondering if this pain is associated with gall stones? If anyone else has had this problem, please leave some input.....

: I had exactley what you're describing. It sounds like you mighthave to have your gallbladder removed. I had mine removed a month ago. And it was the best thing I ever did. They use a new procedure, where they use a scope instead of a big incision.
: Ask your doctor about it.

I have it too and im 16 and they dismissed it for me becuase I am so young but i went for a ultra sound a week ago and now i am sceduled for sugery on the 3nd and i am getting the surgery with the scope my sister had it too and you wont get the pains any more but when you eat fast food my sister goes to the bathroom in like 20 minutes but I guess its better than years and hours of pains!
