Wow, AcipHex doesn't sound good. I am a longterm Prilosec user (for GERD). My health care insurance (Blue Shield) just notified me that they no longer cover Prilosec in their drug formulary. They are recommending AcipHex or Protonix. Neither sounds like a good substitute. Has anyone heard anything about Protonix?
