In Reply to: Gall Bladder Attacks 1.5 yrs. after Surgery???? posted by Cassy on July 31, 2000 at 20:18:13:

: I've had my gall bladder out for about 1.5 years and the other night I could swear that I had another gall bladder attack. There was no difference in what happened to me the other night and the attacks I had before I had my gall bladder taken out?? The samm exact pain....it feels like someone is stabbing you in the upper back with a wooden stake while you are having a muscle spasm in your stomach.

: Just wondering if I'm just imagining this or if anyone has ever heard of these attacks even without a gall bladder!!!

: Thanks!!

Ii have the same thing a lot of the time - I had mine out June 1999 - still when I eat certain things or a lot of fatty food I get pain

I just had a GI Series and liver function test and everything is fine

It is soooo weird - you are suppose to be normal after it is removed - ya right
