I didn't have any of these problems after surgery. The only pain I had was, of course the "stab wound" incisions (very little pain except the larger one was sore for a while). And my shoulder hurt from having been pumped full of air during surgery, but that only lasted a few days!!

As far as eating after surgery, I can eat anything without pain, but here lately I have had just a couple of "gall bladder-like" attacks, but really no big deal. The only thing I do know is that sometimes if I haven't eaten normal meals (three meals a day) that when I do eat, I have to rush to the restroom about 15-30 minutes after eating. I've found that it is best to eat several small meals a day!! Other than that...everything is normal!!!

: Hello, 2 weeks ago I had gallbladder surgery. I continue to experience pain under the breast area on the left side and left shoulder, unable to sleep due to the pain, afraid to eat because of reoccurring pain (burning sensations), nausea symptoms without vomiting, along with weakness and a nervousness feeling. Are these symptoms normal and if so about how long do they typically last? I have been told that I can eat anything I did before the surgery. Is this typical or are there diets or eating habits that need to be changed?
