: : : If anyone out there can help me I would be very thankful. I had my Gallbladder out a little over a year ago and I am having a lot of problems. I gained lots of weight eventhough I did not change my eating habits and I exercise. Everything I eat goes right through me, I can't even digest water without having sever adominal pain. I have also had what seems like gallbladder attacks even though I don't have one. I have had 2 since surgery. Doctors say it is because I am severly overweight but I never gained any weight until after my surgery and I lead a very active lifestyle and eat very little as I get sick everytime I eat. If anyone has any suggestions please reply. Thanx.

I HAD MY GALLBLADDER TAKEN OUT ALSO. PANCREATITIS SOON FOLLOWED. I WAS UNABLE TO EAT OR DRINK WATER ALSO WITHOUT DIARRHEA AND PAIN. MY DOCTOR DID AN AMYLASE AND LIPASE BLOOD TEST WHICH WAS HIGH. HE PUT ME ON ENZYMES CALLED PANCREASE AND LATER CREON 20 AND I GOT WELL. HAVE YOU HAD AN AMYLASE TEST?
