:) ten years ago i had sugery to remove my entire large intestine. i had my small intestine brought down to replace my colon... (i have had colotis for 20 yrs prior) i have never felt better!!! but in the past 10 yrs following surgery i have gained 80 pounds. today (9/29) on a annual follow up visit my doc suggested gastro by-pass surgery. i can not tolerate "diet" foods with the pouch i have and he said this is the answer. i have why to many questions! can you help... down time? how long be4 your back to work - back to normal? any comments pro or con i would appreciate.
