Hello. I'm new to this site. I'm writing in regards to my sister who had her gallbladder removed in May of last year due to complications from anorexia. After her surgery we begin to notice her right rib cage expanding and becoming larger. Her doctor sent her for a X-ray and ultrasound to see if there was a deformity or old injury to the rib cage ... when she recieved the results it implied there was no sign of injury or deformity. Her rib cage had expanded more and her liver can now be felt below her rib cage. She was sent for a CT oral scan and the results implied there was nothing showing up and it must be caused from an old injury. She is tender in the area and cannot rest comfortable on her right side. I was wondering if the CT scan could have missed something or if anybody has heard of this happening to other people.
Any help or information given would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
