: For the past five years I have dealt with these weird attacks where I have to double over in pain, can hardly breath, the pain is right under my breastbone, and feels like a terrible spasm. It only lasts a few minutes, but other times, I have a terrible burning there, and zantac only mildly helps. I had an upper GI a few years ago, but it reveiled nothing. I have been told that hiatal hernias can move back, and sometimes seem like a remission, therefore the docs see nothing in an upper GI, so does anyone else have this? What can I do? Also, I am doind some deep breathing/stretching exercising, and it seems irritate by this. Could continuing to do these cause a further hernia or hemorrhage? Thanks!
Have your doctors done a endoscopy or an motility test on you seems they should be doing that before just letting it go. I have barretts disease but i got terrible chest pains with mine and they found it by doing those two tests on me
try those and see what comes out of it. good luck to you
