: I have represented 100s of persons in connection with disability applications for SSA benedits. Not once has a client been denied on the three year review. I have also had several clients return to work on the trial work program, and later go back on disability without a problem. It seems that the most difficult part of the SSA disability process is getting qualified in the 1st place, after that, they are more understanding. But do not let your guard down, and take the necessary time to complete the forms and follow-up with your MD.

: I've been disabled for 13 years from a stroke, and have come up for review again. Can your benefits
: be taken away if you haven't seen a doctor or had tests in awhile? I'm stable with my illness...no
: better or no worse, but realize that the S.S. Administration likes to look at facts such as current
: tests and exams by doctors. Has anyone had any experience with being reviewed, but yet do not
: have recent tests/exams to show for it, and your disability benefits continued with no problem?
: The first time I was reviewed, I simply mailed in the forms, but 5 years later they had me see a
: doctor. Now three years later they want to review me again. Thanks for your input.
