I am 45 and have been disabled since I was 13. Like you, I struggle to go to work every day, just hoping I can make it through the week. I find my coping skills are gone. I get upset much too easily and turn people off with my sad moods. I am on medication and if it is helping, I would hate to see what I was like if I didnt take the stuff! On the weekend, I want to just stay home, where people dont stare at my stump and ask me rude questions like "what happened to your leg?"
