Dear Na,

There's not much I can tell you except I can promise you that you are not the only one going through the problems you are expirencing. Like you, I suffer from severe depression and anxiety attacks, both of which have been made worse by an intolerable work environment. My anxiety problems became so bad that I recently walked out on a good paying job which I had held for sixteen years. I have been out of work for a month, and am terrified of the prospect of starting a new job. I have made multiple suicide attempts of varying degrees of seriousness. (10 to 15 in the last 6 years.) I'm sorry that I have no real answers for you. But I wanted you to know that you are not alone by any means. I have encountered many people in life who suffer from the same problems. Also, there are other medications available besides Paxil. some of them may work better for you or have fewer side effects. If you are not already seeing a psychiatrist, go see one, because general practitioners are not as well qualified to treat emotional problems. At any rate, I just wanted you to know that you are not alone. What ever your final solution, good luck to you and God bless. : I was wondering if anyone has gotten on social
: security disability for depression and anxiety.
: Its to the point that I can barely work now, I come home so stressed out, until I am sick and cannot function. I stay at home when Im not working, because I cant cope with problems that my family have. I dont want to hear any bad news. What are the procedures for starting a disability claim. I dont think my boss knows how I feel. They cannot know how miserable I am and that Im on the verge of panic. I have two more years before retirement, but I dont thnk I can make it. I dont takes meds. It took me a long time to get off paxil and I do not want to take it again. I think I would be better if I could just stay home. Anyone else with this problems?
