First of all you should be congratulated for working instead of just accepting social security.
And it isn't legal if they are harrassing you do to frequent illness if you are disabled to begin with and they are aware of the illness to begin with.
You can go to your state vocational rehabilitation center and receive benefits such as college tuition to train for another job. You are eligible for disability thru social security, and I am sure there are resources you can get from your local cancer center and voc rehab can help you with those types of things too.
I am receiving help due to a back injury that won't allow me to be a nurse any longer and they are helping me to go back to school as soon as I am able to sit thru classes.
Don't let anyone push you around my friend. You have a difficult enough time with out all the added stress. If need be report them to the labor board and contact a lawyer about the harrassment.
If you need a friendly ear just to vent a little stress I always need new penpals. Email me.
My name is Tina Ellenburg and my address is firstname.lastname@example.org and I'm not a weirdo-----hahaha---just a good person.
