I am a Youth Education Consultant for a Regional Association of Churches. I have had a request from the youth director at a church in my region for a story about Down's Syndrome (or a similar type of situation) to be used in a 5th/6th grade class. A student in the class has Down's Syndrome and is not being accepted very well by the class. The teacher may be able to reach her students through a story appropriate for this age group.
