: My beautiful granddaughther Lindsay is 29 months old and isn't walking yet. She will walk around furniture and even push a toy shopping cart but will not walk unaided. The doctor says there is no medical reason for her not to walk. She weighs 32 pounds and it's hard to carry her. The physical therapist that has been working with her isn't concerned, should we be?
Hi, I'm doing a study about Down Syndrome (the development) and I wanted to say to you that it is normal that children with DOwn Syndrome start walking slower. I think that you shoudn't worry. Children with Down Syndrome have less muscle tension so it is harder to walk,... I wish you all the best with your granddaughter.
