I have just done a little of bit of searching through Barnes & Noble for books on DS. Interestingly I have discovered that the Netherlands have been doing extensive research on DS for years. I am not sure if buying the book itself will answer the questions that I have.
I am not interested in education, so much as I am interested in the function, or should I say disfunction of the brain in ds kids. Please email me if you have any information on such.
My feeling is if we cannot properly learn how to help ds kids if we do not properly understand the problem. The extra chromosome is just the beginning, it is understanding how the extra chromosome affects the person.
