My son was not quite 4 when he had his out last Christmas. He did fine. He did not drink a lot of water and we had to chase him around the house to get him to take his pain medicine, but he did great. The pain medicine made him a little sick to his stomach, but after we reduced the dosage, he was fine. I'm glad he had the surgery now. I'm 36 and I will be having the surgery after this Christmas. I know it is going to be worse for me, but I'm ready to get it over with. Good luck.
