Hi Rob,
Saw your message a couple of weeks ago and was just wondering how you and your wife are doing.

: My wife and I recently were told that our newborn has down sydrome. This news reached us after months of agonizing pregnancy, including hospitalization, trips across our state and other life crises. We are now told that he also has heart lesions and other cardiovascular problems. My wife and I are incredibly loving, caring individuals with limited means, both financially and emotionally now. We only want to do what is right for our son and have talked to adoption agencies who inform us that there are people who specifically want special-needs children. They can give him what I fear we cannot. My question is how do we learn to cope with the greif of this situation. We NEED to know if there are other people out there who have faced similar crossroads and have made similar decisions. We love our child with all that we are. But all that we are is becoming less and less every agonizing day of our lives. Please someone help us.
