Sarah,
Unfortunately most of the material I have read has said that after having one child with ds, you odds of having a second child with ds goes up to 1 in 100. My best advice would be to consult your doctor or a geneticist. However, I have talked to many people who have had a child with ds, and have then gone on to have one, two, or more children without ds. Remember that it is all just a game of chance there, nothing you have done caused ds, and there is in all likelihood nothing you can do to change the outcome of the next pregnancy. I wish you all the luck in the world.

Bless you,
Jessica
