Whatever you do, don't give up. Start classes now. Even if it is just Gymboree, get him involved, and never let him think he is different. My sister is 21 YO w/Down Syndrome, and my parents were not as strict with her as they should have been. Thus she has much potential, but does not do as much as she can on her own.

Your son will have a very bright future, as long as you don't give up.
