I would also suggest that you contact some parent and family support groups in your state. I live in SC and we have agencies such as Pro-Parent and another called Protection and Advocacy,
which exist for the sole purpose of protecting the rights of our children. If you are not sure where to start to contact such agencies, contact your county Department of Special Needs and Disabilities. Let me know if I can be of any help in any way. Good Luck!
