: I really love my little daughter but I hate that she has DS. Today I feel strong and I really want to fight for this beautyful child.

Annika,

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back here! I think it is ok to hate that your child has Ds, we all want only the best for our kids. Just make those feelings a real jumping off point to push for all the services your child needs...Physical therapy, Occupational therapy, Speech therapies. Give her all the support she will need to succeed in life. You can't make her not have Ds, but you can make her a capable, confident, and loving person! God bless you! Feel free to e-mail me privately! I love to hear how kids are doing as they grow! [email protected]
