:My son Austin is 11 years old. Pure Joy!!! He is not the head of his class even in special ed, but neither were my other children in regular ed. But, Austin is special. He can feel. He knows. I don't know how to put into words the way he communicates with me. Me in particularly. He loves me. Of course he loves the others. But he really communes with me. He has his Dad, brother Randy, and brother, Mitchell. He loves the male attention. But, when he needs help, attention, love, acceptance, or food, he comes to me. I'm MA. I hope and pray for independence, even in a slight sort of way. If schooling continues as it has, it probably won't happen. Academics are flat. But I know in my heart, that Austin has grown, has loved, has expanded beyond expectations even if is not the expectations of the world. He is my world. He is beyond my expectations.

:My daughter who is 34 years old just had a low afp and an ultrsound which showed 2 markers for Down Syndrome. According to the Dr. Max, who is due March 27, will be a baby with Down's Syndrome. Jennifer (my daughter) is doing well with this news but messages from you would be very helpful. Jennifer is profoundly deaf and has one daughter who is almost 4. I would love to hear from you. Thanks.
