I am 20 yrs old, happily married, & expecting my first child. However yesterday my docter called to tell me that my " alpha fetal protine 3 " test came back positive for Downs Syndrom....Now they want to have an amnio... However personally I do not feel it is worth the risk.. Does anybody know how accurate "afp3" tests really are ??? And can anybody tell me what to expect if my baby is born with downs....Thanks for any information :)
Mary :))
