: My Grandson Larry is 22 now. He can read second grade books . Write so that it can be understood. He is a confort and joy to the entire family. In Highschool he was main streamed and in 11th grad was voted by entire Junior class to be home coming prince. Went to the prom. Was in special Olympics once. Goes every where with his family. Drives a golf cart. Helps move and take care of 90 year old grandmother. Has strong faith in God and enjoys going to church.

: In the days after his birth, we didn't know or believe this would happen. It was bad beyond belief. This is a wonderful place for others to get help and encouragement. His grandma and all adore him.

HOW WONDERFUL TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR LOVING GRANDSON, HE CERTAINLY SOUNDS LIKE A FINE YOUNG MAN. I KNOW YOU MUST BE PROUD OF HIM. IT SOUNDS LIKE HE HAS A FULL LIFE AND A LOVING AND SUPPORTIVE FAMILY. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE MET MANY FINE YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN WITH DOWN SYNDROME THROUGH VARIOUS ACTIVITIES THAT SUPPORT DOWN SYNDORME AS OUR OWN SON 2 YEARS OLD ON THE 18, HAS DOWN SYNDROME AND WE ADORE HIM. HIS SISTERS LOVE AND ADORE HIM AS WELL. HE HAS BEEN A RAY OF TRUE SUNSHINE FOR OUR FAMILY.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR VERY ENCOURAGING STORY IT BRIGHTEN MY WHOLE DAY AND MADE ME SMILE.
