Hi Mom in Texas,
We had the same problem with our son (now 20) up until about three years ago. He lives at home and would call 911 all the time. Finally, the last time he did, I asked the policeman who came out to put the "fear of God" into him. He sat at our dining room table with our son and explained what could and would happen if he continued calling when there was no emergency! Never happened again! It helps to have an understanding police force, too. We live in a mid-size town and a lot of the force know Sean from other incidents. He used to 'take walks' when no one was looking and lots of other stuff!!
Hope this helps.
: Help,we received another call from the group home our son lives at.He has called 911 again and no one can figure out the reason. He has been fascinated with police and fire men since I can remember but not to this extent. He is 20 years old and instead of getting better it is getting out of hand.Everyone is working on some solution but we are baffled. Can anyone help us out. Please desperate Mom in Texas.
