A member of my family is dealing with bulemia and has been experiencing some hair loss. This is a really bad sign. The hair loss basically means that you are not keeping enough nutients in your body to sustain hair growth. I don't remember the clinical term but it means you really need to get some food in you or you may not survive. I hope you are strong enough to get better I'm not sure if my sis is and I worry. Take care of yourself.: I am & have been bulemic for several years now....the disease has progressively gotten worse over the years & I often find myself binging & purging several times a day...even though I know it's a terrible thing to do & I'm slowly killing myself...it's a vicious cycle that I keep repeating. Over the past several months I have been having problems with hair loss...unfortunately the amount & frequency have been increasing...I am wondering what aspect of the bulemia causes the hair loss & is there any way to stop or lessen the loss while I'm seeking help for stopping the bulemia?????
