: As someone w/ an eating disorder, and who's studied eating disorders obssessively for 4 yrs, I suggest you SEE A DOCTOR. NO ONE CAN DIAGNOSE A PERSON OVER THE INTERNET. However, it sounds like what you are feeling is definately not healthy. If you really want to know what you "have," you can check the DSM-IV, which is a psych. book that gives diagnosis of mental disorders. If the criteria fits, then a doc will diag. w/ it.
: There are 4 catagories: Anorexia, Bulimia, ED NOS(Not Otherwise Specified), COE (Compulsive Overeating Disorder). You can read about these in the DSM-IV (your local public library has this book), and going to a doc could really help you out. I have an inkling of what they'd diagnose you as, but I'm not even going to say it because diagnosing over the internet is...well...it's just not smart. Please get help.
Thank you for responding. Guess I was just hoping for a suggestion of what (might) be wrong w/ me (if anything). I am just looking for somewhere to start b/c I just can't go to a dr. and tell someone face to face that there is probably something the matter w/ me. I have been thin all of my life and guess I just need to get used to this new body that was part of the package deal of getting a beautiful, wonderful seemingly perfect child. Thanks again for responding.
