Dear Kristen
Has this only been going on for the two weeks that you haven't eaten, or have you had problems with food before that? Please know that anorexia distorts your body image, you feel fat even if you are really not, or even underweight! I cannot imagine anybody being fat at 100 pounds, you are probably underweight already, depening on how tall you are. You would have to be extremely short not to be underweight at 100 pounds!
Anorexia, and please believe me that, is NOT, absolutely not, worth it. It may seem exciting in the beginning (but it seems it is more of a torture for you!), but if you are anorexic (and it seems like you are heading there or are already) it will soon take over control, and I remember how I just wished so so so much I had never gone there!
Do YOU think you are anorexic? As I said, at least it sounds as if you are headed there, and I want to urge you to turn around before it gets out of hand! Please get help. Can you talk to a counselor at school, maybe, or to a dcotor?
Anorexia can cause severe damage in your body, even lasting damage. I was there, and I am gald I could turn around in time (well i hope I didn't suffer any lasting damage).
Please write back. How long have you had problems? Do you agree that you should go for help?
This is not to scare you, but to WARN you. Anorexia is no fun at all. It also makes the sufferers depressed, makes them food-obsessed and steals all other kinds of dreams... I had the feeling i was not really living, just existing. please think about it.
