I'm not sure whether I'm at the right message board, but here goes . . . .

I started college last year and have gained the "freshman 15" that I swore I would never gain. Before that I had no problem controlling what / when I ate. Now I can't seem to stop. Even though I consciously know that I am not hungry, I still eat. As far as I can tell I am a compulsive overeater (the only thing that has kept me from turning those 15 lbs into 50 is the fact that I stay fairly active). I do relatively ok until someone puts food in front of my face. I turn into 'the girl who just can't say no'.

For breakfast and lunch I'll be fine, even dinner sometimes, too. But no matter what time of day, if I get the opportunity to eat, regardless of how hungry I really am, I'll take advantage of it. I don't just mean to sieze the opportunity, I mean take total and embarressing advantage of it.

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it immensely.

Thanks,

Sarah
