Paula,

I know how hard you are trying. Last year, I weighed
275 and I am only 5ft 2in tall. You can imagine the
pain not only emotional but also physically that I was
feeling. Let me tell you the secret of my success...
I had tried every fad diet known to man and even tried
to create my own. The best thing for me was to find a
support partner. I found a friend that wasn't necessarily
in the same boat as me, she only need to loose 75lbs.
Together, we held each other accountable for our workouts
we started to walk 20 minutes a day. At 275lbs. a brisk
walk was unlikely, but I made myself feel the pain and
get out there and do. I am 42 years old and I was bound
and determined to get the weight off. We began to eat
healthier, leaving out the extra ice cream cone after
dinner, the candy at the office. When you have to be
accountable to only yourself, you tend to fudge a little
here and fudge a little there. Having a partner, was
the greatest advantage I had. My friend and I started
a support group at our local church. There, we partner
people up to be accountable every day and we meet once a
week. I want to encourage you that you are not alone.
You can lose the weigh. It is tough. I lost 136lbs.
I was carrying another person on my body. I feel great
and you will too. You always have a friend in Jesus
Christ and I will pray for you and your endeavors to
lose the weigh. Good luck and God Bless
