Hi,

A few months ago I was half a stone lighter and have always had tendancies to binge eat.
Ever since November when I though I was 2-3lbs overweight I have tried diets (like the cabbage soup one) etc and ended up binging more ands gaining weight.

Anway, I recently used the Atkins diet and although I lost 2lbs almost immediately I ended up binging. I can't decide whether I should concentrate on the overeating rather than trying to lose the weight seeing as a book I read recently said you need to overcome the binging and concentrate on avoiding binging and having distrasctors etc. I need some advie as to whether to keep with dieting or try and get rid of the actual problem as I'm sure I'm messing up my metabolism and binging more and therefore gaining weight. I am only 7 - 10lbs overwieght.

Sorry this is so long. I hope some one can give me some advice.

Beccy
