24 F: HEY THERE. I AM 26 YEARS OLD, 5'4" AND WEIGH 276. I HAVE BEEN EXERCISING FOR ALMOST TWO WEEKS NOW, AND I HAVE LOST THREE POUNDS. WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IS EXERCISE!!! I AM A JUNK FOOD/SODA ADDICT TOO, BUT I HAVE DECIDED IN MY HEART AND MIND THAT I WANT TO BE HEALTHY AND LOOK THE WAY I KNOW I CAN. ALTHOUGH SOME OF YOUR WEIGHT GAIN MAY BE FROM YOUR MEDS, I'M SURE MOST OF IT HAS TO DO WITH YOUR LIFESTYLE. YOU HAVE TO MAKE A LIFESTYLE CHANGE. DRINK WATER INSTEAD OF SODAS (OR AT LEAST SWITCH TO DIET), EXERCISE FOR 30-45 MINUTES EVERY DAY. STOP WITH THE FAST FOOD!!! YOU WILL BE SURPRISED AT HOW FAST YOU WILL START FEELING BETTER. WHEN I STARTED WALKING ON THE TREADMILL 2 WEEKS AGO, I HAD TO GET OFF AFTER LESS THAN 15 MINUTES.. TODAY I WAS ON THERE FOR 32 MIN! I HOPE TO BE WALKING FOR AN HOUR WITHIN THE NEXT MONTH. ITS ALL ABOUT TAKING SMALL STEPS, AND NOT FOCUSING ON THE BIGGER PICTURE. I CAN'T STAY MOTIVATED IF I THINK ABOUT THE ENTIRE AMOUNT (150 POUNDS) THAT I HAVE TO LOSE.
