I am a firm believer in making sure that you get enough protein. Protein keeps your blood sugar on an even keel. In the morning, I take my vitamins with a soy protein shake (using skim milk)& perhaps a bran muffin or a piece of toast.
- Lunch is a lettuce salad with a chopped boiled egg on top/sm. amt. of dressing with a bran muffin. - Snack about 4pm of a half a cup of sm.
oyster crackers and a piece of monterey jack cheese. Dinner is small amt. of what I cook for the rest of the family. / combine with some kind of exercise (like walking - 45 min. a day), and you will be amazed at the results. To me, the soy protein shake in the A.M. is what sets me up to handle the rest of the day without overeating.
(GNC has a Soy Protein/chocolate that is delicious). (Just some thoughts . . .)
