Can anyone shed any light on why my mother, after many years of seizures with no falling episodes, is all of a sudden falling down. She is not conscious of falling, and doesn't remember when the "seizure" is over. The "seizure" lasts momentarily, and is not accompanied by anything else, ie shaking, etc. I'm terribly worried that she will be alone momentarily and fall and strike her head on something.
She is on several medications, has been for years. Her new doctor doesn't know why this might be occurring, and is seeking to wean her off some of the medication. Any help, etc. would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.
