: : I was looking at this site and noticing that there is not a lot of information about Neurontin.
: : Have any of you been on it for any length of time?
: : Any side effects?
: : Any information would be greatly appreciated!
: : Thank you.
: I've been on Neurontin for simple partial seizures for almost three years. I love Neurontin
: because I experience no side effects. Yes, its possible that it makes me tired, but I've
: been on so many different drugs I don't think I remember anymore what it feels like not to be
: tired. My doctor says he doesn't have very many people on it because its not strong enough.
: It also does not prevent grand mal seizures.. I think its only good for simple and complex partial.
: Sadly, I had to discover that fact for myself. You also don't have to have levels done every
: month when you're on Neurontin. However, they won't know how much to put you on so
: you just have to keep taking more until you stop having seizures, or they get less and
: less. Which can take a while. I take seven pills a day. 2100 mg. People may take up to
: 10 pills a day. If you're taking it for simple partial seizures write me another note. I've
: never met anyone else who has them.
