Hi. I have no idea whether or not I should be posting here, but I'm not sure where to look for answers.
Approx. 7 times in the past 10 months, ONLY when lying down, I had the sensations of "an explosion"
in my head. I no it sounds insane, but I cannot think of any other way to describe it. It is brief, about 2 seconds,
and that's it. No pain. Sometimes when I open my eyes, it looks a bit like white blotches, but I think
that's normal when you open your eyes in a pitch dark room anyhow. Could this possibly be a seizure,
or ???? Can anyone suggest anything that it might be?
Another thing that has happened, but only twice before, and only while lying down, I felt like I had been
given an electric shock on the end of my tongue. I know ---- it sounds weird. Trust me, it felt weird. Very
brief. Maybe 1 second. But was so strange.
Any ideas, anyone? I do have an appointment with a neurologist in 6 weeks, but naturally, am trying to
figure out what it could be.
Any advice???
Thanks. Carol
