Sarah - Good luck with your son, I know its hard to understand some of things he is experiencing unless you've experienced them yourself. I would suggest listening to him no matter how strange some of the things he says is happening. I guess the medications work on a certain part of the brain that causes nightmares, I'm speaking horrible nightmares that frigtens me as an adult so I can imagine as a kid how scary this is. Some things you experience with seizures makes you think your either crazy or it has to be your imagination. Neurontin seems to be a good medication, you may talk to his doctor about trying it. I find the best thing is talking to people (like on this site) that actually experience these things, I seem to learn a lot from reading their writings of what they are going through. Doctors do what they can do, but most of them have not had a seizure and they sometimes make light of what your telling them or treat you like it is your imagination. The best thing you can do for your son is stay as informed as you can and get all the information you can, and listen to all his symptoms because some are hard to explain or believe. Good luck and take care.
