: : I am a 46 year old who up until September was not bothered with seziure disorder. But since September, I have experienced 3 grand mal seziures. Now I am between a rock and a hard spot. I currently cannot drive for the next 3 monthes, my doctor states that i am able to work, just not drive.....so my employer demands that I find a way into work. My problem is that I live rural. Literally between the cow pies and the corn fields. I have exhausted all of the hire for transportion options, and they will charge me more per week than my wages. My employer has said that if I can not find transportation that I will be put out an a 3 month unpaid leave of absence. My problem is that I can't afford to live without my weekly pay check, much less no money for 3 months, and no transportation to and from work. I live 20 miles from work, I hae considered riding my bike, but a 40 mile round trip my be stretching it a bit far....any suggestions, thanks

: : Jane.... I suggest that you try to rent a room closer to your workplace... maybe from your collegues or friends. The cost will not be so great and your friend will understand your problem better and maybe they can help you commutte every day. You can go back to your own house in the weekend if you have to. I think they surely can help you for 3 month... it's just a short period of time.

Great Idea, but unfortuntely my circumstances are more complex than living closer to my employement. My husband is bi-polar and whenever i am out of his sight he is postive that I am having an affair. I would hate to see his reaction if I was to be living out of his sight for 3 monthes. His bi-polar is the reason for my financial position. And finally, I have specific responbilities here at home (re:raising animals) that my husband would not take the responsibility and I don't trust their welfare to anyone else. I take in abused, abonanded and starved horses and dogs. So I am still between the rock and hard spot. But thans for the great suggestion.
